Ordering Policies

OVERVIEW

Tuscan Nights strives to insure each client is satisfied with their purchases. Important in achieving that goal is to communicate our ordering policies to those who shop with us so that expectations can be consistent. Please read the policies below before placing your order, and by all means call or email us if you require clarification.

PRODUCT GUARANTEE

Tuscan Nights guarantees that all products have been made in Italy unless it specifically noted otherwise in the Product Descriptions.

As with all handmade products, slight variations will occur in glaze patterns and ceramic shapes.  This is to be expected, as our products are exclusively hand-painted; there are no stencils or appliqués used in the production of our ceramics. If for some reason Tuscan Nights believes the variations are significant, we will email you a photo for your approval prior to shipment.

Unless otherwise specified, all ceramic dishware products offered by Tuscan Nights are food safe. Display/decorative items that are not safe for food are properly marked and described in their respective Product Descriptions.

PRODUCT ORDERING

If items are in stock, they should ship within 3-5 days of placing an order. Tuscan Nights does maintains reasonable inventory levels, however in some cases items presented on the website will require restocking from Italy.  Typically restocking cycles can be 4-8 weeks.  Tuscan Nights will confirm anticipated shipment timeframes upon order confirmation. SHIPPING

All items ordered from Tuscan Nights will be shipped UPS Ground unless otherwise specified. We currently are only shipping to locations within the United States. If you are outside the US and have an interest in Tuscan Nights, please contact us and we will work to meet your needs. 

Estimated shipping charges can be previewed on the site before placing your order, but Tuscan Nights will adjust the shipping charges to the actual amount upon acceptance of your order.  Should the actual shipping charges be 20% or more above the estimate, we will contact you before charging your credit card or shipping your items.

Tuscan Nights insures each shipment. These rates are included in the estimated shipping charges you can preview before finalizing your order.

Each shipment will be packaged using bubble wrap and Styrofoam peanuts to protect the fragile ceramics.

RETURNS

In the event of a product defect, Tuscan Nights will accept returns for refunds, net of shipping charges.  You will need to notify us within 3 days of receipt of your order via email to info@tuscannights.com. Specific descriptions of the defect must be noted, and photographs might be requested.  All returns for refund must be pre-approved by Tuscan Nights and will be at Tuscan Nights sole discression. If approved, Tuscan Nights will provide a pick-up notification from UPS, and you are responsible to have the item packed in the original packaging/box and in the same manner it was received.  Upon receipt of the return, Tuscan Nights will issue the refund to the payment method used for the original order.

WITH THE EXCEPTION OF DISHWARE AND ALL SPECIAL ORDERS, should you wish to return an item for any other reason, we will be happy to provide you a store credit for your return net of shipping charges. We must be notified via email to info@tuscannights.com that you wish to return an item, and that notice must be received by Tuscan Nights within 3 days of receipt of your order. All returns for store credit must be pre-approved by Tuscan Nights and will be at Tuscan Nights sole discression. If approved, Tuscan Nights will provide a pick-up notification from UPS, and you are responsible to have the item packed in the original packaging/box and in the same manner it was received.  Upon receipt of the return, Tuscan Nights will issue the store credit for the retail value of the item net of shipping charges.

Dishware and all special orders will only be accepted for return if they are defective.

DAMAGE CLAIMS

Should your items arrive broken or damaged, please save ALL packing materials and contact Tuscan Nights immediately upon discovery of the damage. All claims for breakage and/or damage must be made within 3 days of receipt of your order via email to info@tuscannights.com. Under no circumstances can we honor a claim for breakage after that point.

Photos of the damage should be taken and emailed to Tuscan Nights.  In some cases, Tuscan Nights may request that UPS inspect the shipment and packing materials in order to process your claim.
